hi, i have been running a few protects for a few months now and thanks to my anti virus deciding that it needed to be reinstalled i noticed the network usage, 380gb in 9 days, at first i thought it was a mistake with the sidebar gadget, (when reinstalling the anti virus i forgot to unplug the internet cable and for some reason i thought this side bar gadget had a facility for disconnecting, this is how i noticed the usage) i have downloaded a few things (about 50gb worth) and bionic (with virtualbox) is the only other thing running, this morning i set the bionic network limit to 500mb per day, this was exceeded in 1 and a 1/2 hours, is this an expectable amount of data usage? i an running vlhc@home, atlas @ home and i have just stopped milky way @ home when i exit bionic the network data usage drops dramatically so its defiantly bionic using all my download limit thanks |

Atlas & VitrualLHC are data hogs. Best to ask about how much data they use on their boards. ![]() |
