WCG Update 20 minutes ago: "Our website is currently down and we are looking into the root cause and a method to fix it. We will post a follow-up when it has been resolved." Edit, added: The WCG team should drop the website for now, and concentrate on getting BOINC back, up and running.The website with all bells, whistles, steam, and whatever else, is not the important part of WCG. Geeze, get your priorities right WCG. |

Here is a update/message from Jurisica at Krembil https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=682959 trying to explain the convoluted ownership of WCG and "why things have not been going smoothly." Appears Krembil is WAY OVER THEIR HEAD in trying to keep the ship afloat -- lack of money, experience and manpower are obvious. |

So, another day goes by, and no BOINC on WCG. In an hour everybody at the WCG project will go home. All staff at the data center will also abandon the ship, and go home, and shortly thereafter the WCG website will take a dive again, and stay down until tomorrow at about 10:00-11:00 Toronto time. This is getting a bit old by now, isn't it? |

It's mid day Friday and not surprising the Krembil crickets are completely silent on the database and hardware recovery. IMHO If Krembil had been open about the lack of people to manage the project and lack of project funding from the beginning, maybe the crunchers would not be so angry. |

Friday at 17:00 ish in Toronto, and the WCG website also went "home" (down) for the weekend. System error World Community Grid is currently experiencing an unexpected error. Please check Facebook or Twitter for more information. No need checking FB or Twitter. Nothing about this outage there. Edit, Added: WCG website up again, but the BOINC part of WCG is still down. Down for close to 16+ days now. |

Here is a update/message from Jurisica at Krembil WCG should hit up pharmaceutical companies. They are the ones that will benefit from this research. Plus, they have most of the money in the world, aside from oil and gas companies. |

WuProp website and server 'UNREACHABLE for slighty more than 1 hour now. This is 4TH multi hour outage in less than a week IF the past 3 recent outages are any indication, it will be down for 5 to 7 hours total. |

No response from Universe@home. No response from project home page. ping -c 3 universeathome.pl -- failed BUT was able to browse around the homepage of the University of Warsaw. My guess: Internet problem. Jay edit: reported at 11:30 Eastern Daylight time, Saturday,25 March 2023. |
