hi! i've noticed that boinc manager "runs" as many work units as cores processor(s) have.pls correct me if it's wrong.
i'd like to ask if there is a way to chose whether my pc runs simultaneously more units .for example my main pc which have 4 cores never had a problem on full boinc processing so why not run some more than the 4 w.u. on the other hand my boinc.app on my 8-core android tablet allow me the opposite :to chose how many cores to use .any help is welcome.

You can use the <ncpus>N</ncpus> option in your cc_config.xml file to simulate more CPUs than you actually have:

But you won't gain anything in terms of work throughput, you'll just be sharing cores between multiple work units :)
