Recently upgraded system from 14.04 to 14.10, new kernel, new FGLRX drivers. (gpu drivers reinstalled after kernel update)
Boinc sees the 7770, doesn't see it can do openCL. Have POEM gpu units that it cannot do that it did before.

Well, tried to fix it today, and managed to unbreak it (ie, it works now) though I can't say where exactly the problem was.
Removed all traces of wine
Purged fglrx
Installed regular fglrx packages as opposed to the -updates i had previously.
Works now.
