Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if it would be possible to get an Intel XeonPhi Coprocessor with its like 50 cores and run it with World Community Grid to have like 50 different tasks running at once (since normally it assigns one task per CPU core).

For that to work, one of the WCG sub-projects would have to release a multi-threaded application, or an OpenCL(-on-CPU) application. But you best ask about that on the World Community Grid forums, as at the moment you're at the BOINC forums and all any here can do is give their best guess.

Currently, WCG doesn't have any OpenCL projects. However, I would say that it's very likely that they will in the near future--it's up to the developers of each individual project to decide which platforms to support, not the WCG people.
