In the client_state.xml there is a tag:

<cross_project_id>

Anyone knows is the number is web searchable on some site.

It's not the Cross project ID that is mentioned on the project account page.

It's probably the Host (computer) CPID, which is not the same thing as the User CPID you're thinking of. I don't think it works very well - it's implicated in the batches of 'abandoned tasks' we see sometimes.

Yep, I got another answer as well from David.
The host CPID in the client differs from the "external CPID" exported in the stats file

David will add the external CPID to the client and projects as well.

This is something I will implement in BoincTasks.

It got me confused, because the internal and external CPID are both called by the same name.
