In looking through the threads, I have been unable to find a similar topic. Perhaps I'm blind?
Anyway I notice BOINC takes into account multiple CPU's during initialization. I currently run World Community Grid (WCG) client on multiple computers relatively happily; but I have built a new machine that has 4 cores across 2 cpus. The WCG client apparently does not support this sort of hardware configuration, and it will simply run as if on a single core cpu (I have learned this in forums). If I use the BOINC client to participate in the WCG effort, will it allow full usage of this hardware configuration?
Thanks in advance for your input.

Yes it will. You will need to set the global preference for number of CPUs large enough to allow this though, the default is 1 or 2.
