I've been running BOINC since it first came out but I want to start doing more with the project. I would like to create a project and applications. I have setup the VM image and also setup the server with all the documented steps to get the test application up and running.

I would love to have to hear of someone experienced with all aspects of BOINC to use as a mentor. I would like to create some sample applications for fun little projects to get my feet wet and eventually make tackle some some open data projects to do something productive.
