Where is your gui_rpc_auth.cfg file placed? In your home directory?
Do you have a file called gui_rpc_auth.cfg anywhere? If not, make one and either leave it blank, or add your own password in it, then save it off. Make sure it doesn't use a .txt file association.

ok thz for your help m8, i got if fixed .... for so far.

now i copyed boinc to /proc/boinc and i can run it from the Xwindows GUI.
bunt since its a server i need to run it from the commandline. but everytime i try this (even after a clean reboot) it say: "another instance of boinc is already running"

even tho i'm very sure that isn't the case. " ps -ax " gives nothing boinc related. same for " top".

i had it working once. i did chain boinc to a project from Xwindows, and afterwards run it from tty6. but it wont work anymore now.

next step is to make it daemon for user " boinc" but first it has to work at all :)

As far as I know, BOINC runs as a daemon as standard under Linux. Since you can't run two instances of Boinc at the same time, you get this message. But compare it to a service install under Windows 2k/XP. You'll have to edit the rights of the daemon to suit whatever you want.
