Had to reinstall BOINC, hard drive failed, installed BOINC and created an other user by mistake (ID 9978515 but I want my old user back (ID 273899. Have not been able to get the old project running only the new one is there. Deleted the new one and tried adding again but the new one pops in. Any ideas?

Detach/Remove project, then attach/add project using the email and password from your original account.

If you're forgotten your email address, or password, either log out of your account on your browser, or choose a different browser, and try and log in by going to your account page,
now either reset your password if you have access to that email account, or log in with your authenticator, although you may have lost that in creating a new account,
