If one is set up to only run Astropulse work then the SETI server generates this message nearly every time the machine contacts SETI.

Message from server: Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of SETI@home v7.

I believe that not having a usable v7 app should NOT generate this error at least not at this frequency. But i'm sure someone will come along and tell me otherwise.

I believe it's either because you have "Seti@home v7" checked at the Run only the selected applications section, or because you do not have it checked. It's just as weird as having the complaint of "Your computer doesn't have an X GPU", where the X GPU is either Nvidia, ATI or Intel, and selecting that you want work for this GPU, while you do not have one in your system, will make the message go away.

I tried both settings with Seti@home v7 checked and unchecked. Error message continues to be sent every other time computer contacts SETI servers.

No problem for me, I can live with it. Perhaps message will change when SETI servers are sending out work in a normal manner. At this time no work is being sent out either Astropulse or Multibeam.

Setienhanced was Seti v5, (Setienhanced) Multibeam was Seti v6, that is deprecated, there is no work for Seti v6, and there won't be again,

Seti v7 has replace Seti v6, there is plenty of work for Seti v7, but you don't have Seti v7 in your app_info, either CPU and/or GPU so you won't be able to get it,
you did have it in your app_info, but the last work you received for it was on the 1st Feb:

All SETI@home v7 tasks for computer 7122790

For proof that work is going out check the Cricket Graph, just because the results ready to send reads close to Zero (on the Server Status page) doesn't mean work isn't going out:

Graphs for gigabitethernet6_17

You might want to re-evaluate your decision to only have Astropulse v6 in your app_info, if you have the Seti v7 apps in to, then that message will go away,
you can always use the setiathome preferences to only get Astropulse v6 when it is available, at other times you might want to do Seti v7 work otherwise your computer will likely be dry.
