I've been having an issue for a few months now where BOINC does not pause when I start using my computer. I've been using BOINC for a number of years, and I've not had this problem before. It continues to use as much as 25% or more of the CPU, so my computer slows to a crawl. I sometimes have to stop it manually via Windows task manager. I have the settings to pause when the computer is being used. It almost always is the same project, or at least the running file always starts with "Astro". I have HP Laptop with WIN 7 Pro 64-bit, 8 gb memory and plenty of hard drive space.

Please post your Boinc startup messages from the Event log, the first 20 to 30 lines will do.
