Problem 1: somehow this fixed itself. just took a while before BAM! got it right.

Problem 2: Removed ATI video board and getting "Application uses missing ATI GPU". I dont see any tasks "waiting for ati". Everything seems to be working even the projects that claim the ATI board is missing. BM:7.0.28

Right now, PrimeGrid is using the gtx460 just fine but somehow is also complaining the ATI board is missing. Maybe there is some files I can delete or edit to fix this?

On a system that used to have a gtx280 and now has a gtx460, I get the error message "Milkyway - Application uses missing NVIDIA GPU".

There are applications mentioned in your client_state.xml that don't have a suitable GPU now, just 'Reset' the applicable projects and the problem will go away.
(as long as you were just running their Stock apps, otherwise you'll need to edit their app_info yourself to remove the surplus apps)

Thanks Claggy!

I didn't try reset because the projects are being used but I will reset them as soon as there is a stopping point (I am running in a challenge right now).

I reset two projects that were long ago "retired" and not even listed on BAM! anymore and it took a while but they finally got removed from BM.

This is the only thread that discusses removing projects, so here goes- I hope it's the right one: :)

I have a few projects that forbid detaching from (removing from my desired projects):

VolPEx
World Community Grid
SLinCA
Mind Modeling @ Beta

I want out of WCG and SLinCA at this point. However, all I can do is a workaround by suspending the work fetch. I just want them off; I have no clue what effect they could have on my other projects. I'd also like the option, at least, of removing the other 2, though I'll keep them for now.

When these projects are highlighted, all or any, the remove button goes ghosted. It doesn't work. I even use BAM stats, and I can't get it to remove them. I need help. Anyone who can help me gets 5 cool points... thx, Cesium... :)
The pretty lady you see is Hayley Westenra, a classical singer from Christchurch, NZ. I invite you to get to know her music and exquisite voice...

When these projects are highlighted, all or any, the remove button goes ghosted.

That normally means that you added these through other means, like an account manager.
And then you have the chance that this is done by BOINC Account Manager, GridRepublic or Extremadura@Home (Spanish).
