Ah leave the poor boy alone. The only thing left for him to have total control over is his retirement, so let him have his "little fun". :-) |

One more planet we can scratch off our list of potentials for life: NGTS-1b. It is interesting in different ways, though. The planet, known as NGTS-1b, is the size of Jupiter. But it orbits around a red dwarf star that’s only half the size of our sun. Scientists not only didn’t predict that such a massive planet would be able to orbit such a small star, but it contradicts some of the predictions at the heart of their understanding of how planets form. |

Thought - Is that a small star that has captured a "failed star", and will they coalesce into one body (slightly larger star) at some time in the future? |

It is a red dwarf star, I don't think those change over time into yellow stars. (but then, I didn't read all of the Wiki page) |

Getting ready.....Ditto. Fetching to the task limit, but the server isn't co-operating. Edit - pulled 64 Arecibo VLARs out of the feeder. Hope that helps. |

Not much activity on the boards today so I'll give them a bump and wish all a happy outrage today. |

Eviction notice served a number of dust bunnies.... Bailiffs arrived carrying brushes etc. Dust bunnies evicted. One computer running a bit cooler, faster and quieter I think that might qualifies as a successful outrage |

Eviction notice served a number of dust bunnies.... I don't think that is enough to get you a toaster. |
