With the recent flash news I'm sure all the politic posters are going bananas that they can't say "I told you so."

Yes, Cal got run over by a steam roller and flattened.

Those of us in the upper left coast enjoyed that a lot.

The servers must have caught a buzz from the celebration following the total drubbing the Raiders gave the Broncos last night ...

Is this the server version of the Hokey-kokey?
Given the number of server problems in the last few days I am getting rather concerned for their health (and the well-being of those that tend their demands)

even uploads aren't working now, Boinc is just backing off all the time. Must be serious ;-)

Does boinc treat tasks waiting to be uploaded as part of your existing work cache? Or does it recognise a dwindling one for what it is... a dwindling one? Just asking because as much as I enjoy doing Einstein work, a swamp of them all at once can get a bit intimidating, and they're not giving me any.

edit: okay well that last bit might be because I suspended network connection :/ it's Monday people - you can't expect too much from me in the brain department.

Well, the kitties still have plenty of Seti work on hand to keep them busy for now.
I trust that when Berk wakes up another round of reboots will get things going again....for at least a bit.
I suspect that some more troubleshooting shall be required to get to the bottom of this round of crashes.

Eric suspects it's the RAID card again, as it's been playing up since they put the new kernel on and it couldn't work with that new kernel. Now it may not even want to play ball with the old kernel.

Hope they have a spare readily available......
