Here is a place for all those Seti people to commiserate when the Seti boards are down and they are feeling lost and without direction and absolutely must hit the post button.

Rules:
1) This is the BOINC development board. Their posting rules apply. Their moderator(s) enforce. We are their guest.
2) This isn't the Politics Forum on Seti, consider it the Cafe Forum lite.
3) Have fun. Yes, that is an order! :-)

Well, You know who I am without my Avatar, right?

Glad to see somewhere for all of us vagrants to go.

3 consecutive posts from 3 alien hunters and a flame war hasn't broke out yet. Call Guinness.

Hola. Last I knew we didn't know when the outage would be. Guess I missed the memo.

Hello folks.

Since Saturday.

Hola. Last I knew we didn't know when the outage would be. Guess I missed the memo.

This is the scheduled AirCon maintenance not the postponed power outage, been on the front page for a while.

Biding our Time

A line, or two,
in lines, that rhyme.
Dan's Poetry Corner --
to kill the time.

Some gravity waves
or pulsars, found,
Some earthquakes felt
beneath the ground.

We bend some proteins,
cure some ills --
and find some mass
'neath CERN's window-sills.

Global warming, we might mend --
but really,
we look,
for LGM.

Oh LGM
Where art thou?
SETI can't find thee
They know not how.

Oh, this where you all are :-)

Well a few of us and one or two SETI haters it seems, not sure what we have done to incur their displeasure

Oh no! They're taking boots and jackets off.

Hey you guys! We have no food, our women are old and our wells are all dry. They have food, good ale and fast women in the next town only 40 km west. And someone spotted an LGM there last week. Really!

Hiyah Sten,

Now now young man, it's New Year, let's think positive here. So what if they are down for a few days? We survived the Mayans for hecks sake, this is a doddle by comparison. Any more of this negative talk will incur a slap with a wet kipper!!

Oh Seti, where art thou. We are soooooo lost without you.

I managed to upload a bunch of work too. No reporting yet though. SSP shows signs of life also, upload server running.

That's what I concluded from the big blue spike on the crickets. I didn't even think to check the SSP.

And BTW, calling me a young man would be like calling George W Bush "intellectual".

ROFLMAO! OK, we'll get along fine.
