The only island that is actually in the North Atlantic Ocean is Ireland.

What about the Hebrides, Orkney and Shetland.

None will be more amusing than your own earthworks, Sir. ;-) To not stray from the pedantic too eagerly however, Mr S - I do not recollect "dragging in the Pacific Ocean". Perhaps that is because I did not? ;-)

We can only hope no one comments on the location of any Pacific Island.
Message 80051
I stand by what I said, Sir :-)

Rurutu which is part of the Austral Islands, in French Polynesia, in the Southern Pacific.
Evidently, you did not understand what I said. ;-)

From the same (Message 80056):-
As we all know the point of Gary's inaccurate post was an attempt to poke fun at England or Great Britain

At some of its inhabitants, Sir, was my take. ;-) Yours, was Iceland.

You did indeed not say "Pacific Ocean", but instead "Pacific Island", to which I answered Rurutu. We're on the safe side of getting technical not to say anything about islands in the Northern Atlantic.

Well, before the arbitrary line in the sand and sea gang got busy there was universal agreement https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/sevenseas.html wrote:
What are the Seven Seas?
The Seven Seas include the Arctic, North Atlantic, South Atlantic, North Pacific, South Pacific, Indian, and Southern Oceans.
Of course if we use Mr. S, then Britain wasn't seafaring because they didn't have one of the only seven seas on their border. One suspects that might have been very good for a large number of peoples on earth.

Ah the Seven Seas. Every time they get mentioned I think to 1982 & the Goombay Dance Band. Great track :-)

We’ll ride the wave together
We’ll sail the seven seas

We’ll ride the wave together
We’ll sail the seven seas
We’ll sing a song for freedom
And dance in unity.

Oh your island ... sunlight
We will walk your golden sand.
We’ll explore your clear blue waters,
And respect your native land.

We’ll ride the wave together
We’ll sail the seven seas

We’ll ride the wave together
We’ll sail the seven seas

We’ll ride the wave together
We’ll sail the seven seas
We’ll sing a song of freedom
And dance in unity.

To your music we will wallow
To your rhythm we will sway
Joining hands we’ll form a circle
And love you ’till the die of day.

We’ll ride the wave together
We’ll sail the seven seas
We’ll sing a song of freedom
And dance in unity.

We’ll ride the wave together
We’ll sail the seven seas
We’ll sing a song of freedom
And dance in unity.

It was a late start to the outrage and we're not back yet. Methinks 8:30 PDT at the earliest.

Wow, you might be right. It's quite late, now. 11 pm EST, here in my neck of the woods, which I guess is 8 pm PST.

Nearly 6am (UK), it is a long one, and I doubt that we will see any action before about 6am PST - another 8 hours or so....
