As a cure to the little bit of politics, here's a snail:

Seti goes down so regularly these days for whatever reason it's just business as usual.
I hope bush fires isn't "business as usual."

That's lunch for one French family of four.
But uh isn't that just a photo-shopped rabbit?

How much garlic do you think it would need?

That would've scared the h* out of me. Looks like a walrus with a shell.

I think the one shown, morphed with a rabbit or not ,was a Giant African Land Snail.

Currently a bit of a nuisance in Florida due the fact they nom on concrete for the calcium.

So what? At that time of night how many people are glued to their Seti screens in PST? That is 06.05am in the morning for the UK or 07.05am for most of Europe. Same applies.

Beside yourself, who should know better than consume diuretic tea, I suspect most of the Pacific and a couple of continents Asia and Australia might be glancing at Seti around that time. Of course as we all know if a country isn't located on an Island in the North Atlantic it doesn't exist. ;-)

The only island that is actually in the North Atlantic Ocean is Ireland. Great Britain is in fact in between the Irish Sea and The North Sea.
Not quite correct.
The Atlantic is divided into 4 regions - North, East, West, South.

In the North there are the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland & Baffin Island. Ireland is in the East region.

So you agree that Ireland is not the only island in the North Atlantic then?

Indeed it is, Sir. ;-))

Evidently, Mr Charpentier assumed Mr S would not require a wiki entry to locate a body of water divided in two by the equator. We can only hope no one comments on the location of any Pacific Island.
