Can not send back completed work... Some one please tend to the project server(s):

Sat 07 Jul 2012 06:31:33 PM CDT | Rioja Science | [error] Error reported by file upload server: Server is out of disk space

It would also be nice to have working forum(s) on the project website.

28 hours later .... STILL NOT ABLE TO UPLOAD WORK - One completed work unit has passed the return by deadline date/time... probably will not get credit due to it being returned late/past deadline.

Looks like (possibly???) working on cleaning up the server(s) >>>
Server status:
Program Host Status
data-driven web pages boinc Running
upload/download server boinc Running
scheduler boinc Not Running
feeder boinc Not Running
transitioner boinc Not Running
file_deleter boinc Not Running
validator boinc Not Running

It would be nice to have [regular???] communication(s) on THEIR FORUM/WEB SITE from who ever is in charge of this project instead of ALWAYS coming back to the main BOINC SITE to post when something goes wrong :>

Looks like they're back...

7/11/2012 3:34:14 PM | Rioja Science | update requested by user
7/11/2012 3:34:18 PM | Rioja Science | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
7/11/2012 3:34:18 PM | Rioja Science | Reporting 2 completed tasks, requesting new tasks for CPU
7/11/2012 3:34:21 PM | Rioja Science | Scheduler request completed: got 1 new tasks

I've gotten 14 tasks across 4 hosts since ~ 1810 UTC. Two have completed and validated and two are pending. Most returned tasks that were "overdue" have validate errors, but some are pending or have received credit.

ATTENTION RIOJA PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR(S)/SCIENTIST(S):

Still noticing that the project is NOT VALIDATING tasks run on Linux versus tasks run on Windows.... THIS IS A ON-GOING PROBLEM. PLEASE LOOK INTO!

This was first mentioned in Message #44163 - Posted: 18 May 2012 | 17:46:01 UTC
FWIW, there seems to be a problem validating linux versus windows machines. All of the 100+ pending WUs I've checked so far have been linux against windows. Not an uncommon problem.

Two recent examples:

Two workunits sent out both marked as invalid and a Third was not sent/canceled --
Computer# 813 (Linux) and Computer# 832 (Microsoft Windows XP Professional x86)

Four workunits sent out,
Two were marked as invalid (Linux - Computers 855 , 1125) and Two were validated (Windows - Computers 844, 248) --

p.s. When will the message boards(s) be working on the project website?

Another 6 weeks has passed and still no message board, status report or signs of the project administrator(s) at Rioja Science.

Perhaps we should take our computing power to a project that has a working project board and project administrator(s) that care care about the participants in their project.

I don't want to give up on Rioja Science just yet, but I would definitely agree that FightMalaria@Home has responsive administrators who care about the crunchers. It's one of my favorite projects. :)
