Hello, I've run WCG up until now on my machine but now that I have boinc on a number of computers (some not directly mine but i manage them) I was thinking of branching out a bit. Having a dear friend that suffers from ME / CFS I was wondering if there is a project that works towards its cure as i know that we know little about this illness as of yet and surely the free resources of boinc would be of great benefit to otherwise costly research. I've read around and not found anything directly related but is there a project that works in the general direction of it's cure perhaps along with other diseases ?

You can only try http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/. Its a very helpful project.

Thanks I'll add it on, I'm planning on setting up any old PC's i come across and trying to publicise boinc and it's projects locally through a number of organizations i am involved with.
