Hello,

I'm running BOINC Manager 6.10.58 on windows vista

With seti@home, I had 5 running tasks : 4 cores (quad) and 1 GPU
s@h went down, I switched to einstein@home, still 5 running tasks
e@h had no more GPU tasks, I tried milkyway@home, for multicores and GPU support.
mw@h said my GPU isn't so good for him, and e@h had new GPU tasks, so I switched mw@h down (no more tasks)
And now I only have 2 running process : 1 CPU e@h with hipriority, and 1 GPU
I've restarted all, increased CPU usage for BOINC, checked I've still 100% processors to use, still only 1 CPU task running, and the system shows only 2 running tasks and at least 2 cores with very low usage.

In your opinion, is the e@h hipriority task (new to me) who takes it all, even running only on 1 core, or the mw@h who mess up with my manager ? Had someone seen this before ?

Thanks for your answers, I'm running for the exaflop on seti@home, and I'd rather not do it on 1 core only.

Einstein@home is only in high priority because Boinc thinks it won't complete in time, once the CPU task goes out of high priority, Boinc will ask for work from Einstein again,

You could try suspending Milkyway and see if Boinc asks for work, then unsuspend Milkyway again,

Ok, the e@h hipriority CPU task went on hold (!), and since my processor is running full as before. Saddly e@h is the only other project using my GPU, so I'll wait for seti@home to switch it off.
