I keep getting a message that I can not get new work because I need to free up 4157.8 MB of disk space before I can get work. same for seti calls and predictor.

Any help here would be appreciated.

There's an option for this in the General preferences page of your Account page on each project.
After you've clicked update here, go to the Projects tab of BOINC, click on the appropriate project, then click Update, so that BOINC has a look at that project's site.
