I had a problem with boinc and had to reinstall it. In the process I lost a unit of work. I was wondering if there was a way to re-download it - I have plenty of time to re-submit the unit.

Failing that, is there a way to report back to seti that you cannot complete the particular unit?

I also wondered if there isa way to insert the unit back into boinc if you still have the original file?

Don't worry about it. These things happen from time to time. The WU will be reissued to someone else when the due date is passed, if a quorum has not been met.
