The Virtual Prairie project recently published a paper Large scale parameter study of an individual-based model of clonal plant with volunteer computing in the journal Ecological Modeling.

Does this mean ViP is finished? The serves seems to be dead for some now and when I read the acknowledgements in the paper it's in the past tense.

This project benefited from the grant ANR-08-SYSC-012 of the Agence Nationale de la Recherche.

Can we expect ViP to return or can 'we' scrap it from the list of active projects?

Thanks for the info,
Bart

I can see that on Boinc-manager as well, because I never stopped it from pinging for new work, so my stats are being updated regularly.

My question is if we can expect ViP to ever return, i.e., can I remove it from my project list in BM?

It looks like ViP will be coming back, as Jay said over here
