another newby question
my boinc client keeps downloading vast amounts of work from rosetta and einstein... there is no way i can get it all done by the deadline i have tried using the connection frequency i have set it to 0.1 days but it seems to have had little effect has anyone got an ideas, i dont want to waste loads of WUs

After changing settings in your general preference (which propagates to all your projects) on the web site, do a manual update of the project in the Projects tab of Boinc Manager for it to take immediate effect.

Don't try to micromanage Boinc it, does best when left to do its own thing. It has a very good algorithm to follow your project share and still return work on time. It may not seem like it on the short term but it will follow your guidelines in the long run.

thats a lot im just used to using the old seti at home and i have just moved to BOINC, still not used to being able to directly control everything that happends
