Why does this program appear in both the system tray AND the taskbar? It should just appear in the system tray. How can I turn off the taskbar entry? This is not a major bug, but, incredibly annoying.

If you are running Boinc as a service, or from your startup folder, you may see an orphan Boinc button in the taskbar. It is a WinXP bug that causes this - the bug can be avoided by delaying the startup of Boinc. You can use a program called DelayRun to workaround this. One user has reported that he needs to use a 30 second delay to fix this problem.

There is also this program, DelayExec, which could be used instead of DelayRun help to fix your problem.
