Hello,

I feel there would be many people in my city who would be interested in joining a BOINC project. I am the founder of a university team and would like to advertise in a public site (e.g., craigslist) to try to attract more members.

I am just wondering if this is acceptable with the BOINC terms of service. I don't want to get into any trouble by representing BOINC without their explicit consent or anything like that. Would it be allowable to simply post a craiglist ad asking for volunteers to download BOINC and join my group? It would be for the climateprediction project, by the way.

I can't speak for BOINC, since I'm only a volunteer, too, but I can't imagine any rules that would prevent you from advertising your team.

Gruß,
Gundolf

You can advertise your team on Facebook for example.
