My system is about to go belly up. I have several climatepridiction projects very close to completion with hundreds of hours of computing at stake.

Is there any way I can shut down the service then save my projects to another drive then restore them back to the computer once I have rebuilt the machine? Detailed steps on how to accomplish it would be greatly appreciated!!!

BTW, the computer will have the same machine name once I rebuild it.

Thanks!!!

There's a whole section here about this on our alternate PHP board at climateprediction.net.

I'd like to recommend my method listed in detail here.
Basically, it's just copy and paste. :)
