We have the following situation. Several computers which are on power 24/7, all of them running Boinc as a service but sometimes they are doing other calculations in the background. In the latter case I'd like Boinc not to start at all. Is it possible not the start the Boinc applications if another specific program is running? If so, where can I specify this program or which tool do I have to use. As far as I remember there is a possibility to do so, but google just didn't tell me the solution.

Thanks!

You're thinking of the <exclusive_app> option directive in cc_config.xml

See client configuration.
