I'm having an odd issue with BOINC Manager 6.10.18 for Windows. It seems that sometimes when my internet connection drops out, BOINC Manager is not able to communicate with a particular project even after the internet connection has been restored. (I use 3G internet, so occasional dropouts are normal.)

I might have several files that BOINC Manager is trying to download or upload, and it won't be able to send/receive them for hours, even if I do "Do network communication now". However, if I close BOINC Manager and restart it then it is able to send/receive the files straight away.

Interestingly, I've only ever seen it affect World Community Grid, not the other projects I'm working on.

Any ideas? I'm guessing it's a problem with BOINC Manager rather than WCG, but if WCG has a different network setup than other projects then I'm happy to post a message to them too.
