The Boinc Client works fine so far, but when winXP starts up, there's always the problem that the B.Manager seems to forget to enter "localhost" into the client name and returns the message that it can't connect to the client.

When I enter "localhost" into the manager it works fine until I reboot.

What can I do?

Thanks.

I've read this thread some weeks ago, but it didn't help me. I think the Manager tries to connect to the daemon before it has started. Is it possible to make it start a little later or at least after the daemon?

Yes. Use Delay Run to delay the running of other programs.
