Getting this error whenever I try to run/open BOINC. Just installed XP 32bit this morning, grabbed the latest (6.6.41) - Manager Opens, but cannot connect so I checked my System Event Log and saw this error. Figured I would report it.

3 Errors back to back to back, as seen below. The syntax error seemed the most specific.

Make sure your Windows XP is fully updated (Windows Updates) and then try again.

It is.

Updated to 6.10.16 and the issue disappeared.
