Hi,

I just started GPUGrid, but it is showing up as a separate account on Boincstats.

SETI/Rosetta/etc:
http://tinyurl.com/kjqxy9

GPUGrid:
http://tinyurl.com/nbp5bx

All projects are using the same email address.

Anyone know how to combine these Boincstats "accounts".

Thanks.

You must also use the same email address at all projects.
That's what identifies you to a project.

Oops,

(I meant "email address" when I mistyped "username". Just changed it,)

Yes, all projects are using the same email address, but GPUGrid is still showing up as separate.

Know how to "combine" them?

Thanks.

As just posted at GPUGrid:

Anyone know how to combine all projects into one "account" on boincstats?

Just wait for the CPIDs to converge.

Which may be difficult, if this PS3 host is GPUGrid only, and your PC hosts are 'any project except GPUGrid'.

Richard: Thanks.

Just closing this thread out here too.

Someone (=Lupus=) over at GPUGrid was awesome and told what need to be done:

--------------------------------------------------
A small "how to converge the Cross Project IDs":

1. Make sure the mail addresses and the passwords are the same on all projects.

2. Join the GPUgrid project with your PC, even if you have no cuda-able gpu on it.

3. After joining, you can set the gpugrid project on your PC.

4. Hit the "update" button on some of the projects and also on the gpugrid button. By doing so your boincmgr reads the CPID from your projects and then tells gpugrid to save the CPID value if the boincmgr thinks most of your projects share the same CPID.

Thats it! I hope I've interpreted the boincmgr's behaviour in the right way...

Those instructions worked for some of my projects but not all. Two of the projects wont change email addresses because it says there's already an account with that name...ah yeah, that other account is me! How do I change the email address on this machine so it matches the email with the other projects/computers without losing my stats?

Thanks

... without losing my stats?

You can't. The 2 accounts are owned by 2 different 'people', as identified by their email addresses.

But, to change your "other" email addy:
1) Log into the account that has the right email but wrong name
2) Change the email to something else (e.g xxx@yyy.com)
3) Log into the account that you want, but has the wrong email
4) Change the email to be the same as the one on all of your other projects
