I'm using 2 laptops for BOINC (World Community Grid)

Running a CPU benchmark on T61 shows 2 CPUs and it runs 2 processes simultaneously, however on the Macbook, it shows only 1 CPU and runs only 1 process at a time.

Please let me know if this is a client problem and will it be fixed in a future release, or am i missing something.

Thanks

have the macbook(woops, no such thing as a macbooc) preferences set to use 100% of cpu processors. it's likely that it's set to 50 or 75 %.

Thanks, hammer on the nail, setting it to 100% usage fixed it. it was earlier set to 90%.

PS: how come macbook is strange to you :)

i've never really liked mac, even as a digital media major, i hate to use macs/final cut, even though i've learned it. another reason, my professor said that the pc(windows/linux/unix) are pimp-able and macs aren't.

glad to hear that for once, i hit the hammer and not my finger... LOL!.
