I just moved to BOINC from the old seti@home. No problem connecting my new acocunt to seti@home, but when I tried to add einstein@home I fail due to a wrong email and password combination on the existing BOINC account. They are not wrong. I can independently log into the account. So, what is going on?

I pasted the

url: http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/

I get the connection and promt for the ID and password. I then get the message "acount not found, check the email address and password and try again"

Did you go to the Einstein site and login (using the Einstein account key from their email to you when you registered), go to "Your Account", and set the password? Each project is a separate, stand-alone entity, with their own database of users. You can certainly use the same email address and password as you use for SETI and for the BOINC boards, but you do have to tell Einstein about it separately.

If you have done that and still are getting this error, then it needs to be posted on the Einstein support boards, "Problems and Bug Reports".

No, I had not realized you needed to do this. Problem fixed, thanks.
