Hello to all...

I run BOINC on three machines - 2 Macs and an HP laptop running Vista. Everything is fine on the Mac's, but the Vista machine won't let me detach from any projects - the "Detach" button is grayed out. Any ideas?

You have to detach using the same manager that you used to attach.
If you can't detach with that manger, then it's not the one that you attached with.

Les Bayliss is speaking of external "account managers" like BOINCStats BAM! as opposed to the local BOINC manager on your machines.

Gruß,
Gundolf

PS: You can also "Stop using <insert your account manager>..." from BOINC manager's Advanced menu and then detach locally.

That's it. Went to BoincStatsBAM and Detached.

Thank you.
