Greetings problem solvers,
I just reinstalled Ubuntu (1), Kubuntu (1), and Xubuntu (2) 9.04 on 4 computers. When I installed BOINC, the startup menu has a selection window with scroll up/down arrows. One of the selections is World Community Grid. The problem is that the names in the window don't show up right. They are high or low such that only the top of the characters or only the bottom of the characters or sometimes nothing is visable. I was only able to select WCG by repeatedly clicking on the hidden verbage until by chance I selected WCG. If memory serves, this problem has been around for about a year.
The BOINC sw was installed using Synaptic package manager. The BOINC version is 6.2.18.
