I just upgraded from v4.19 to v5.2.13 because I just hadn't got around to it and now I find that whenever Windows starts, I get two copies of BOINC manager opening, and one is completely empty.

One of them loads & then disappears to the System Tray (as expected) and the other just hangs about minimized and won't display a window until I right-click on it on the taskbar and choose 'Restore' - then I can see that it's completely blank, as if I've not attached to any projects.

I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the new BOINC & the same thing happens.

Any suggestions?

There is a thread on this same problem here. Have a look and please come back to the board when you have eliminated the possibilities described there. It would be helpful to identify the cause for the benefit of others.
