Greetings,

I'm new to cuda technology.

Currently running 2x 8800gt cards in sli mode.
boinc reports 1 device. shouldn't it report 2?

also, for a future enhancement, a preference addition to allow users to adjust how much resources boinc can use from gpu, also additional benchmark info on what cude brings to system.

thanks

No, for when you enable SLI mode, you're putting two or more devices together for single output.

You can either use it, or not. The 6.6 range of BOINC that's upcoming will have its own GPU scheduler and work fetch module, as well as show what the nominal output of the card is in GFlops. It's not possible to benchmark a GPU.

In the local preferences as well as on the projects, you can also set the GPU to only be used when the system is idle, because of the slowdowns you get when you crunch with CUDA while the computer is in use.

Read the CUDA FAQ in my signature for more information.
