Screen saver won't go away

DerekG Send message Joined: 18 Jan 09 Posts: 3	Message 22513 - Posted: 20 Jan 2009, 0:08:46 UTC I'm running version 6.4.5 under XP Pro and on several occasions I've found the screen saver running but when I type "any key", move the mouse or hit ctrl/alt/del the screen saver doesn't go away. The only way to get my system back is to hit the reset button which I don't like to do. I run as administrator if that matters. Thanks for any help ID: 22513 ·

ATI 4850 card, XP pro, 8-12 graphics drivers. The problem started when I changed my graphics card to the current one. I'm running 6.4.5 Boinc manager (re installed), The screen saver says it is it is "shutting down" but I need to use the three finger salute to kill the process.. I'm running seti@home. ID: 22782 ·
