I used Bonic for over a year running under Xp and never really noticed if it was heating up my Core or not. Now that I am running Vista 64. I see that it is causing my core temps to jump a lot. I am worried that running this program over time that it will cause my CPU to just burn out. Because it uses 100% of all my cores to run... and thats a lot of heat to build up over time.

Anyone notice this also..?? Anyone else afraid to burn there CPU up? If this was happening the whole I am more worried now that the CPU is over a year old. And maybe the CPU will just burn out the MoBo. Who knows =D??

This temp increase is well known.
The usual things apply:
Check the cpu cooling fan and fins for dust. (Use a vacuum cleaner set on BLOW to clean them out.)
Check for dust in inlet and outlet case fans; clean if needed.
Add more case fans or increase the size of existing fans.
Use something like Everest to check the temps.

Use the max processor percentage to use less than full cpu capability. (Climate models don't like this, because it works by stopping and starting BOINC + work units.)
