Trying to get new Wu's is a hit or miss kinda deal. "Update" rarely works. Increasing your "days worth " in preferences is a pain in the tukus. So why not a button that requests 1 wu right next to update? and while you are at it add a shortcut of the update button to the Task page? Switching back and forth between project/task pages wastes cycle time , Maybe? It would save " Mouse time " anyway......

Perhaps letting BOINC do the work for you is easier? Unless you have some sort of problem, or the project is down... in which case this button isn't of very much use either.

By default BOINC will work on a debt based system, meaning that for every hour that one project has taken up the CPU, BOINC will pay that time back to the other projects you are attached to.

If you want more work, use the "Additional work" option in your preferences. Do know that this can hamper you getting work if you set the amount of days to be too big for the project's deadline. In other words, if you ask 7 days worth of work, projects with a smaller deadline (like Malaria with 3 days) will not fetch you much work.

Why not just let BOINC do its thing? It's doing it on 2 computers here, 24/7, with 8 projects per computer able to get work. The times I check in BOINC Manager, both have enough work to saturate the CPUs. And that on a connect to of zero days and an additional work of 0.05 days. So why the need to micromanage?
