My event log is getting these entries at the clip of 2 every second. It has to be consuming resources. I'm running XP Home SP3. The microsoft writeup doesn't appear to match my OS. Any help to end these entries is appreciated.

You did a reboot already to check if that fixed this permission problem?
If you did, then go to Start->(Settings->)Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Component Services->Computers->My Computer->DCOM Config->5F36DC27-B076-4D0C-BD8C-7AEE14022193, right click on it, properties.
Click on the Security tab and under “Launch and Activation Permissions” select “Use Default”. Click OK, close the Component Services window. The error should disappear now.
