When I attempt to attach to a project I click "use existing account", insert my email address and password but get the following:
Account not found.
Check email address and password.

When I then attempt to "open a new account" using the same email address and password I get the following:
Email address already in use.
An account with that email address already exists and has a different password than the one you just enterred.

When I go to SETI and log on I use the same email address and password and log on with no problem.
What am I not seeing/doing????

Chalkyabs,

Go back to "open existing account", insert the email and account key (what was emailed to you from the project), create a password that is easy for you to remember, and enter it.

Regards,

Michael

(edit) I'd like to add that if you are attaching to BoincSeti, you can expect difficulty connecting to their server for a while - it is simply overloaded, so you might want to think about attaching to another project or two. I suggest Einstein@Home for a start, because they are doing very good science and their server is extremely reliable (down only twice in 9 months).
