Which Windows version?
You saw it when you downloaded it or when you tried to run the installer?

I am running Windows XP version 2002 XP2

First I select download from the home page. Then I selected all versions. I downloaded 6.2.12 (7.13 mb) 8 July 2008

Recieved run or save message. Chose run.
Recieved run notice as Publisher could not be verified. Replied Run.

Recieved the following error message:

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\WEB45AEH\boinc_6.2.12_windows_intelx86[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application.

What if you save it first?

What I did to resolve it was clear the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History. Then reran the download and everything is okay and up and running.

Thanks for the help.

This is happening with 6.2.14 also. Had to do the same thing as with 6.2.12.

Why are you immediately trying to run when downloading? Why not just download it first, then run? And download it to a place of your own choice, not to temporary internet files.
