Hello,

I am running Boinc 5.10.45 on WinXP Pro w/ SP3 and have been for some time now.

Today, the application began a strange behaviour. Every few minutes, the context menu will open on my desktop, on top of other windows and steal the application focus. This is the same menu that comes from right-clicking the icon in the system tray. I have restarted my computer and the behaviour continues. Open applications on my computer are just the usual: Thunderbird, Filezilla, Firefox, Context, GMail Notifier, Spybot (w/ TeaTimer) and Avast Antivirus.

Any others seeing the same sort of thing? Any suggestions?

I am into day 2 with this same strange behaviour. I have stopped the BOINC application to prevent the popup.

I have really not a clue. I'll ask one of the developers.

I think I have found a possible bug. delete is called after Destroy().

Still, it would take a weird bug in another program as well to make this happen (I think). Any further information you can give (such as exactly when this happens) would be invaluable.

Does this behaviour continue if you shut down all the other programs? Does it start happening even if you never open the BOINC menu?
