Message 29040 - Posted: 27 Nov 2009, 8:14:49 UTC - in response to Message 25209.

A few months ago you asked if anybody would like to try.

I'm willing if the application is not going to screw up this computer.

It's a touchbook from alwayinnovating.com

Thank you very much for your interest. - Do you have Linux on the system ?
In the moment, I have a strange problem with the SETI application. I am not shure, if this problem will also happens on other ARM system.
If you are interested to test it, please drop me a PM, and I will mail you the binaries.

Has anyone thought about using NAS servers?
I have a Synology DS209 NAS and this thread got me thinking.

I would be interested in testing on a NAS server if anyone has developed any projects. I have a QNAP 210 with 256MB ram. boinc-client runs, and downloaded the World Community Grid project, but they do not support the ARM architecture.

Acutaly SETI will be the only candidate for running Linux ARM apps. Eventualy we can also get some more projects...
I have made a BOINC Client and SETI application for Linux on ARM, but had some strange problems and never released it to the public. Are you interested to test them?
