Hi all,

I'm currently carrying out some initial tests for a new project I'm considering starting up. When I'm ready to start running it for real how do I go about publicing it so that the wider community can consider contributing time to it ?

regards,
Mark

Get the URL to at least one of the ATAs (Alpha Testers Anonymous), and you'll be surprised how fast your project will be crowded ;)
To see who belongs to those bunch, go to any new peoject with a forum and look in the "Hello ATA" thread ;)

ATAs (Alpha Testers Anonymous)

You sure it doesn't just stand for:

Another Three-letter Acronym ?
or
Another Three-worded Abbreviation?

:-D

(Did you know that Acronym is an acronym? It stands for Abbreviated Coded Rendition Of Name Yielding Meaning)

Join the projects email list to help you get the project built and started.

To get a group of testers, send an invite to the BOINC alha test email list or the BOINC dev email list.

You can also post an invite at www.boincsynergy.com.

Depends on how big a group of testers you want and how fast you want them.

Posting an invite here would get some people as well.

You could also post invitations on AllProjectStats.com and BoincStats forums. It's important to explain what the tasks consist of ie what they do and what investigation they're for. There are some crunchers who'll let their computers crunch anything at all as long as it earns credits, but most BOINC members want to know what the science is about, who the people are and where the project is based.
