Hi,

I have been running BOINC 5.2.x release on (Ubuntu) GNU/Linux machines with the '-check_all_logins' command line option. I have setup my preferences aptly so that computation can only start when the machine is idle for 15 minutes.

BOINC does not start a computation session while there is any keyboard activity on any of the console (tty's). However, when someone is using the GUI, BOINC starts a computation session even when there is mouse/keyboard actitivy.

Is this a known issue or I need to report a bug somewhere? Does anyone know of a workaround to deal with this situation?

Other information that may be of interest:
(a) The machines are attached only to the SETI@Home project.
(b) The machines run the optimized clients for SETI@Home distributed by Naparst.
