I’m having a poor experience synchronizing and updating my Photos Library and am wondering whether it might be related to using BOINC.

Does anyone know of any conflicts between BOINC and macOS background tasks, including those for the Photos application or Apple’s iCloud cloud storage service?

Hi

I've been crunching 24H on macs since 2007 and I can't remember having "conflict" issues with macOS general operation.

My current machine is (latest) Intel 27i late 2020 iMac.

Due to always decreasing macOS apps supports by boinc projects, I've been doing 50% of my crunch into a linux VM for years.

Not sure if I could do the same with a Mx mac.
